Hello all. I hope everyone had a good Easter. Xavier enjoyed himself... He found plenty of ways to get into the candy. I made a basket for him, Mom, Dad, and Andrea (and one for me too) and he had fun going through everything. He had Grandpa (my dad) opening all his plastic eggs so he could see what was in them - lots of Hot Wheels and other cars, and a little bit of candy. Then we went over to my Grandma and Grandpa's house and they had a big bag full of stuff for him - a new outfit, a teddy bear wash cloth, a soft bunny, a set of 3 chocolate bunnies, and an ostrich egg. Like I said, he made out like a phat cat. Of course, after all the candy, he didn't want to eat much for dinner, he did eat some ham though.

Oh well. We made it back from Atlanta ok this late last night / early this morning. Today Xavier had an eye appointment because he has a lazy left eye. Aparently there is something wrong with the muscles in that eye and it won't look out the side, just go in towards his nose. :-( Anyhow, the doctor wants to see him again in 3 months to see how he's doing before we decide on a course of treatment. It would seem he's a bit leary of trying a patch on the good eye or anything else at the moment - wants to see if it is getting worse with time or not. He is using both eyes, however, so that is a positive. Unfortunately, they dialated his pupils so he's been a real pill all day today. He's sleeping in my lap at the moment, something he desperately needed to do!
