Yes, today is X's birthday. We did a party for him Sunday with Ginger and her Mike, her Mom and her Grandma and our neighbor on the other side Brandi and Mike and their two children Peyton and Kyler. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, had potato salad and baked beans and chips. Ginger got creative and baked him a Sponge Bob Square Pants birthday cake. I took pictures and will have them eventually. Have to get the film developed first. :) The kids ran around and played outside, jumped on Peyton and Kyler's trampoline, blew bubbles, and just had fun. After dinner he opened presents - school clothes (boring), a Sponge Bob lamp, a Shrek 3 computer game, and several Star Wars toys.
I'm glad you guys are doing well. We're slowly settling in. Rob leaves for the big Sandbox this weekend so we are trying to get stuff done around the house and just enjoy time together. X starts school on the 15th, he's getting excited a little. Si is growing like a weed, we have her 9 month well baby later this month. At her 5 month she weighed in at 17 lbs and just under 24 inches. She's started pulling herself up to standing and will walk holding on to the coffee table or whatever she's standing on. She'll even move between objects as long as they are close enough.
